Genomics England recently hosted a roundtable event with many Cancer52 members including:
Sarcoma UK, Young Lives vs Cancer, Myeloma UK, Brain Tumour Research, AMMF - the cholangiocarcinoma charity, Neuroendocrine Cancer UK, Ovarian Cancer Action, Leukaemia UK, OcuMel UK, Neuroblastoma UK, Brainstrust - the brain cancer people, Melanoma Focus, The Brain Tumour Charity, Children Cancer and Leukaemia Group (CCLG), and Grace Kelly Childhood Cancer Trust. As well as charities, Tessa Jowell Brain Cancer Mission and Cancer Research UK.
The event focused on whole genomics sequencing (WGS) and potential benefits for patients with rare and less common cancers.
