Cancer52 has submitted a response to the call for evidence to shape the National Cancer Plan for England. The National Cancer Plan is important framework for improving cancer outcomes by focusing on prevention, early detection, diagnosis, and treatment. The aim is to reduce cancer deaths and improve quality of life for cancer patients, as well as reducing disparities in cancer care. 


The submission includes responses to the following topics:

  • Prevention

  • Improving patient pathways

  • Early diagnosis

  • Treatment

  • Living with and beyond cancer

  • Research and development

  • Tackling health inequalities

  • Improving outcomes for rare and less common cancers
