Cancer52 is proud to lead ACT NOW for Cancer, in collaboration with Kyowa Kirin; a new initiative showcasing real-world case studies from our charity member organisations. These case studies are making a difference for people affected by rare and less common cancers.
Why ACT NOW for Cancer?
As the National Cancer Plan and 10 Year Health Plan shape the future of cancer care, we want to ensure that proven, effective solutions already working in parts of the NHS are not overlooked in the time taken to implement new policy. ACT NOW for Cancer highlights such projects, ready to be scaled up and adopted more widely to benefit patients today.
The Focus
This initiative is built on three simple principles:
Accelerate: Speed up the adoption of what works.
Collaborate: Unite organisations, communities, and systems.
Transform: Deliver meaningful change in cancer care.
What’s Next?
On 5th November 2025, Cancer52 will host a reception in Westminster, bringing together patients, members, policymakers, and stakeholders to showcase these case studies. It’s an opportunity to learn from what’s working, and to act now to make a difference.
This is a Cancer52 event that has been fully funded by Kyowa Kirin with the intention of launching the ACT NOW for Cancer report. Kyowa Kirin fully funded and led on the development of this Report, in collaboration with Cancer52 and its members, along with writing support from Oxygen strategy. Kyowa Kirin had no input into the organisation or agenda of the Event beyond the report itself.
