We are pleased to announce that Cancer52 is recruiting trustees to its board to support the future development and growth of the organisation’s work, in line with an ambitious new strategic plan that was approved earlier this year. The role description, person specification and application pack provides information about Cancer52, its Board of Trustees and details of the skills, knowledge and experience which we are seeking to have on our board. While we are keen for Trustees to be drawn from within our membership base, we are also happy to accept applications from other elsewhere where candidates have the specialist skills required. Above all, wherever trustee candidates come from, we are looking for people who are passionate about improving outcomes in rare and less common cancers and can dedicate time and support to helping Cancer52 achieve its strategic objectives. We ask that prospective candidates send a CV (maximum two pages of A4) together with a supporting statement of no more than 500 words explaining why they are interested in becoming a trustee of Cancer52. Applications should be emailed to Ingrid Copperman by 5pm on Wednesday 14 November and shortlisted candidates will be invited to a face to face interviews on the afternoon of Wednesday 28 November after 3pm in Central London.
