Cancer52 Members

About our members

All our 80 members work in the field of rare and less common cancer ,ie outside the 'big four' cancers of breast, bowel, lung and prostate

Our membership is predominantly made up of small patient support cancer charities though research investment of the 17 members of Cancer52 with research active in April 2012 totalled £6.3 million

Two-thirds of our membership had annual income of less than £1 million and half of those had income of less than £100,000 in 2012[i]

More than 80 per cent of Cancer52's member organisations[ii] work with rare cancers, ie one that affects five people or fewer in 10,000[iii].
